Look Who's 1 & 2
I am amazed how much little children grow in the first two years of their lives. Time is so precious and before you know it time is gone and everyone is grown. I love chubby little hands, grins with new teeth and giggles from their little tummy's. I love my grandchildren and their parents!

Christmas 2014
I spent in Arizona with the family!
Loved spending time with these sweethearts!
Here is how you build a snowman when you live in Arizona!
We spent the day at Wildlife World Zoo & Aquarium. I had a blast and it felt good to be out walking in the beautiful weather!
We went to the Sahuaro Ranch historical park and picked grapefruit.
I was able to see the cotton fields, rose fields and vegetable fields.
We saw some of the sites in Tempe, ate at Garcia's-yummy-went to the park
and celebrated Christmas.

Lastly, we went to the Phoenix Museum of Art
I hated to leave my sweet grandchildren, daughter and son-in-law.
The drive home was snowy in Arizona and cold in Nevada and Utah!

Christmas Pillow Cases 2014
Every Christmas I paint pillow cases for my grandchildren. It has been fun to put together a pillow case that describes where they are at and what they like. It has been a fun tradition and I like to think the grandchildren like it too!

New Baby
My oldest and youngest grandchildren;
until Friday, when we welcomed our newest family member!
Great job Mom and Dad, she is beautiful!
Matt-Matt, Mr. K, and Curly all love her!
Here's a picture of Joe and I with Matt-Matt they day he was born!
It just breaks my heart that Joe is not here enjoying Miss Millie with us.
Sure he was with her in heaven,
sure he was able to watch us,
but
it
just
ISN'T
the
same.
It will never be okay that Joe is gone.
It will never quit hurting!

It's the little things. . .
that we do for each other that make the big difference. It is the kind word, the friendly smile, the friend who truly listens, the simple phrase of "thank you", the sweetness of "I love you" and the courtesy of friendly giving that makes the big difference. If we all do a little something, allot of something will get done.
Life is short. . . .be nice. . .
Take time for those you love. . .
Life is short. . . .be nice. . .
Take time for those you love. . .
Because it is the little things,
like this that will make your day!

Brothers...
I never had a brother so I will never understand,
but as I look as these brothers I get a glimpse of brother love!
Beats sister drama any day!
I know, the writing in the personal blog department has been dwindling of late!
However, the writing for the Roberts family blog and newsletter is on fire!
So, if you want to read my writing, you'll have to bore yourself with family history!
Because as we all know--
I never run out of
genealogy talk!!!
P.S. I am keeping up with my journaling goal for 2014!
But, you can't read that---
it just might be about you!!!

Weekend fun
This past weekend we had this sweet baby's blessing:
and we had this little boy's birthday!
Love this family!
Love this funny little man!
This is his "smile for the camera" face!
He isn't mad, he is as happy as can be, he just thinks this is a cute smile face!
Of course I snapped a picture of curly!
However I missed her big brother--he is always avoiding the camera!
It was a beautiful Sunday to spend with family and have such a beautiful ordinance performed by my son. I love spending time with my children, grandchildren, parents, and in-laws. It was fun to catch up and visit with everyone. I am very blessed that I have so much support and love from my family. Thank you everyone!

Happy Valentines Day!
Sending all my love to my grandchildren and my children!
I love you family!
And all my love, my eternal best friend:
And all my love, my eternal best friend:
“Married people are sweethearts, in a special
creative union, blessed with that powerful chemistry that draws two together,
sometimes from next door, sometimes from a world away. This divinely designed
power must be sustained by other qualities—by respect and loyalty and
integrity—to be what it is meant to be. To be able to give oneself fully with
confidence and trust, and to fully receive the other joyfully and
gratefully—this is a blessing that grows in meaning year by year and forever.”

Neglected Blog!
I know it seems like this blog has been neglected, and it has, but I have been busy doing a million different things!
Here's what I have been up to:
No wonder I am tired!
Here is a picture of the one quilt I completed for the new baby:
Freezer meals:
Have a great week!
Here's what I have been up to:
- I have gone up to help the new mommy and daddy, twice. I was so glad they asked me to help. It is so fun being the grandma!
- I made the baby a new quilt--I only have one done and I need to finish the second one. I decided to quilt it, so it will take a little longer!
- I have written 47 article for my family history blog and have another 29 in process of being finished.
- Published and mailed my quarterly newsletter
- I have began putting together Joe's personal history and my personal history. (One of my New Year's resolutions.)
- I have been writing every week in my journal--another New Year's resolution.
- I have cleaned my main floor carpets and deep cleaned my main floor.
- I have made a bunch of freezer meals
- I have indexed over 900 names so far this month--I hope to get to a 1,000 names!
No wonder I am tired!

Brothers
“God is the designer
of the family. He intended that the
greatest of happiness, the most satisfying aspects of life, the deepest joys
should come in our associations together and our concerns one for another as
fathers and mothers and children.”
Gordon B. Hinckley (1910-2008)
