Christmas Pillow Cases 2010

Every year I paint pillow cases for friends and family.  This year I didn't get too many done, but I did continue the tradition of painting one for each of the grand children:

Ya Know....

I have decided why grief takes so long,
because your mind gets to have them all night long in your dreams--thus every day you have a fresh memory of why you miss them so very much.

Traveling the high seas...

Funny how twice this year I have been a morning person, first when we set the clocks back in October, and second as we traveled to Hawaii.  So these pictures are sunrises!

While I walked around the deck,  I just kept humming the hymn, How Great Thou Art, as I breathed in the beauty of the ocean and the sky.
Notice the moon (at the top of this photo) still in the sky.
 Another sunrise.
But, as I was enjoying myself on the deck and throughout the ship, my travel companion--
--was very ill.  Felt so bad for her.
