Month 9-January 2011

These two pictures are from the Garden Restaurant, 10th floor at the Joseph Smith Memorial Building, where lunch is always great.  I just love the grilled cheese and tomato soup on a cold day.

Not so swell

I have the stupid flu and this is how I feel tonight--green!

Alone

Trying to go through life doing my thing, and being strong.  Trying to reach out there and grab what I want; I reach, I stretch, I try again and give it my all.  Still at the end of the day, and no matter what I have done there's only one and it's very lonely.

A couple of months ago I decided to attend our stake's single's family home evening.  Here is where it becomes difficult.  I try to do something so I am not alone, only to have my mind reach out and slap me  to remind me how alone I am.


However, because I did  attend fhe, a sweet friend asked me to go to the temple with her so I did.  It was so pleasant to not have to go alone and to have someone to visit with.
